House of JYB

Limited-run varsity pieces, each edition numbered and never repeated — an ecommerce experience built around scarcity.

House of JYB sells limited-run varsity pieces — each edition numbered, never repeated. When your whole model is scarcity, drops of 25 pieces either sell out on day one or stall, and the difference is anticipation.

The brand had the audience and the product, but the site treated each run like ordinary stock. There was nothing building toward launch day, and no way to hold attention between drops.

Solution

We rebuilt the store around editorial product pages that treat each run like a collection — photography-led, story-driven, with numbered-edition presentation and clear run counts front and centre.

Between drops, the site works as a list builder: email capture is woven through the experience so every launch lands in front of an audience that's already waiting.

The result is a store where buying a piece feels like being there on the day — because it is.

Results

Drops now sell as events rather than stock, with the numbered editions doing the persuading.

The email list grows steadily between launches, so each new run starts with demand already in the room instead of starting from zero.
